DAY 1: Marrakech-Ouarzazate via Telouet & Ait Ben haddou
Departure time will be from your riad or hotel in Marrakech to Ouarzazate via the Tichka pass throughout the high Atlas Mountains. You will visit the old Pasha Glaoui Kasbah in Telouet and drive through the Ounila valley to the oldest village in the south Ait Ben Haddou named the universal Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987 visit the beautiful village at the sunset to see way most of the movies used this site. You will also visit the famous city Ouarzazate the Hollywood of North Africa with its Kasbahs and movie studios enjoy Moroccan tee with the local in oasis at the sunset. Stay at your hotel in Ouarzazate for the night.
DAY 2: Ouarzazate – Roses & Dades valley- Todra Gorges
In the morning, you will drive through the mission impossible Road named also the donkey Road by the nomads to Dades Gorges along the valley of Roses you will enjoy the beautiful green gardens with all kind of fruits trees such as figs and almonds. Enjoy going through many Berber villages along the way to see how the locals live arriving into Todra Gorges hike through the canon. The night will in a Kasbah overlooking the river or by the locals in the berber village.
DAY 3: Todra Gorges – Rissani- Merzouga Dunes
After breakfast, you will drive towards the sahara sand dunes along the desert landscapes between the high and Anti Atlas Mountains. Your lunch will be Erfoud the capital of the Fossils in the south. You will visit one of the factories where they make beautiful articles. After lunch, we visit the mausoleum of Mouay Ali Cherif in Rissani the founder of the actual Alaouite dynasty of Morocco at 17thcentury. Arriving to the sand dunes, you will meet with our camel team leader Ichou. The animals are loaded up and you will ride over the ocean of sand at the sunset to the desert camp in a oasis where you will spend the night. Around the fire camp enjoy the music and Moroccan food. You will be mesmerized by the desert night sky. You can sleep in a nomadic tent or under the stars.
DAY 4: Erg Chebbi – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
Enjoy the beautiful sun rise early in the morning and have a breakfast ride back you camel to the hotel at the dune line for a quick shower and continue to the imperial city of Fes. You will stop on the road to enjoy the panoramic views over the Ziz valley before we cross the High Atlas Mountains your lunch will be at the apple town Midelt. After lunch you drive through the beautiful cities in the middle Atlas Azrou and Ifrane to meet with the Berber monkeys in a huge cedar wood forest and see one of the beautiful ski resorts city before arriving to Fes.
