DAY 1:
After breakfast, you will check out the hotel and depart for Ouarzazate via one of the highest passes in the Atlas Mountains, Tizi-n-Tischka. At the top, you will stop to enjoy the Moroccan tea. Along the way you will see the traditional Berber farmers using the terraced style of planting for their farms on the mountains side. Before arriving to Ouarzazate you will visit the old village of Ait Ben Haddou. It is used as the location site for movies such as “The Jewell of the Nile” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. After lunch departure toward Zagora across the Anti Atlas and Tizi-n-Tinifift pass to reach Agdez then the Draa valley. You will drive through forest of the palm trees to Zagora where you will visit the first sand dunes of Tinfou and the mediaeval library of Tamegroute with its old Koran books that goes back to 11 century. After the sunset over the dunes, you will check into your hotel in Zagora.
DAY 2: Zagora-Merzouga sand Dunes
Departure to Merzouga through the stone desert over the Anti Atlas with its beautiful landscapes. You will stop for lunch at the Tazarine. This oasis use to be a stop over for the old caravans crossing the desert from Timbuktu to Marrakech to exchange their goods. You will continue to the dunes of Merzouga to meet with our camel team leader Ichou. The camels will be loaded up and you will ride off into the ocean of sand at the sunset. After two and half-hours ride, you will arrive at camp place in an oasis where you will spend the night. Around the fare camp you will enjoy the music and Moroccan food. You will be mesmerized by the desert night sky. You can sleep in a nomadic tent or under the stars.
DAY 3:
You will wake up early and walk across the dunes to see the beautiful sunrise, have your breakfast and pack your gear and ride back to where your car and driver are waiting to pick you up. You will drive across the desert landscape and see many fortified villages in the magnificent palm gardens of Ziz Valley. You will stop for lunch at the spectacular Todra Gorge, with its huge, breathtaking red cliffs, which is a paradise for mountain climbing. After lunch, take a small hike through the canyons and explore the area. Late in the afternoon, you will check into your hotel in dades gorge.
DAY 4:
you will drive along the dades valley to the Ait youl Kasbah and turn to the unpaved road toward the beautiful village of Boutaghrar. You will reach the famous Skoura palm grove where you will stop for lunch by the Berbers and continue to Marrakech via Tizi-n-Tishka pass. You will see Berber farmers working on their terraced farms, and herding sheep. Arrive into Marrakech and checking to the hotel.
