DAY 1:
After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and depart for Ouarzazate via one of the highest passes in the high Atlas Mountains, Tizi-n-Tischka, which is 2260 meters at the top, you will stop to enjoy the “Berber whiskey” (Moroccan tea). Along the way and see the traditional Berber farmers using the terraced style of planting for their farms on the mountains side. Before arriving to Ouarzazate you will visit the old village of Ait Ben Haddou used as the location site for many movies such as “The Jewell of the Nile” and “Lawrence of Arabia”, visit the film studios, Taourirte and Tifoultoute Kasbahs and enjoy the sunset and visit at the fint Oasis by the locals. Arrive into Ouarzazate and check into the hotel.
DAY 2:
Departure In the morning toward Zagora via Tizi-n-Tinifift pass to reach Agdez and the Draa valley. You will take the unpaved road starting from Tansikht village through the forest of the palm trees toward the Oasis of Zagora where you will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the first sand dunes of Tinfou and the mediaeval library of Tamegroute with its old Koran books, which goes back to 11 century. Check into the hotel in Zagora.
DAY 3:
You will continue to Merzouga crossing the stone desert over the Anti Atlas with its lunar landscapes, stop for lunch will be in Tazarine village. In this area of desert landscape and fortified villages, which used to be the old caravan road bringing gold from South Africa to exchange for sugar and salt you will continue to the dunes of Merzouga and exchange your 4×4 with camels and ride inside the sand dunes to spend the night in the oasis of erg chebbi or stay at romantic inn at the dune line for the night.
DAY 4:
Wake up early and walk across the beautiful sand dunes to see the magic sunrise with the great colors, have your breakfast, pack your gear and ride the camels back over the ocean of sand to where your car and driver are waiting to pick you up. You will drive in the desert landscape and see many fortified villages in the magnificent palm gardens of the Ziz Valley. Arrive into Tinghir, you will stop for lunch in the heart of the spectacular Todra Gorge, with its huge, breathtaking red cliffs. It is a paradise for mountain climbing. After lunch, take a small hike through the canyons and explore the area. Late in the afternoon, you will get to Dades valley check into your hotel at the gorge for the night.
DAY 5:
After breakfast, you will drive along the dades valley to the Ait youl Kasbah and turn to the unpaved road toward the beautiful village of Boutaghrar. On the way you will see the nomads living in the caves and have tee with them before You reach the famous Skoura palm grove where you will stop for lunch by the Berbers and continue to Marrakech via Tizi-n-Tishka pass. You will see Berber farmers herding their sheep. Arrive into Marrakech and checking to the hotel.
