Pick up at 7h30 from your Fez riad or Hotel, Transfer to Taza, a medieval city situated in the north east of Fez. Our destination is Friouato caves which is a natural attraction in Morocco known locally as “Gouffre Friouato” and was first explored by Norbert Carteret in the year 1930. The cave system is more than 150 feet deep and extends for about 3.8 km underground and home to some amazing stalactites and stalagmites. We recommend that you bring walking shoes, flashlight and warm sweater or jacket to climb down on guided exploration of the cave. We finish our day trip by visiting Taza city attractions including the walls, Great mosque and medieval buildings.
